If you are attending an online auction and see items that interest you, follow the steps below to create a hibid account and place a bid!
Get bidding by clicking on the big blue “Click Here To Bid!” button at the top of our home page. This will take you to our current auctions page on iowahibid.com, the nation’s secure online auction bidding site.
You can view items without an account. To bid, you will need to create an account with HiBid, including providing a credit card for payment.
The black bar below an auction listing takes you to the Auction Details, Click “Register To Bid” in the black bar below the auction. Log on if you are a returning HiBid bidder and you are ready to view the catalog, watch items, and place a bid.
If you are a new bidder, create an account with HiBid.
Click the black box “New Bidder?” and enter your email. You will receive notification that you have created an account. Complete the pop-up form with your information and create your password.
Click “Register To Bid” in the black bar below the auction again for the selected auction to add your payment information.
Enter your username and password and provide your credit card information. Mark the box that you have read the terms & conditions, click “Submit Registration.” You will see “You are Registered” in the black bar below the auction. You are ready to start bidding!
Click “View Catalog” to see the items up for auction.
Click the “Bid” button below the picture and enter your bid.
Set the maximum bid so you won’t be outbid. The system will automatically bid for you up to this amount as others bid. Using this feature eliminates continuous watching the bidding, being outbid, and losing out on great items!
Not ready to bid? Add them to your watch list by clicking the star. Create a notification when bidding is about to close so you don’t miss out.
When You Win
Your credit card will be charged for your winning bids.
You will receive an email from Dosland Auction with your receipt and information to arrange your pick up time.
Go to the auction – and never leave home!
